California Taco Shop Hartford

This is definitely one of my favorite spots for tacos for multiple reasons! I'll start with the one thing that really is disappointing is the parking situation, its like they don't want you to go there. But besides location, I love this place. My favorite thing to get is the hard tacos, which is crazy because I have never liked hard tacos but theirs is so wonderful and definitely fried in house. What makes it even better? On Wednesdays, my boyfriend and I like to go for the fiesta pack -- which is 7 hard tacos for $5.99 and one more dish to share. there's normally still food left and we eat for less than $20. The only bad experience I have had in terms of food was the chicken. I ordered a chicken burrito as our second dish and the chicken was just plain bland making the whole burrito disappointing. Cant wait for my hard tacos again!

Best taco place hands down. Authentic, delicious, good prices and deals, friendly people. Couldn't get any better. I've been to every Mexican place within a hundred miles of here, not joking, this place is the best.

Best enchiladas I've had in a long time! Portions are great for the combo plate, so you won't leave hungry.

Always passed by it and wanted to try it out. Stopped in today for lunch and I gotta say I regret waiting so long to go! Ordered just 4 supreme steak tacos and not only were they absolutely out of this world, but the presentation was beautiful! Even came with fresh lime wedges. Only $2.50 each it was a steal. Will definitely be going back

Food is always solid, at every spot. Staff is friendly, and helpful. Variety of meats, styles, and combinations is really enjoyable to give any food adventure a wide array of choices. Worth checking out multiple times. Recommend the hard taco's. Pic is of a Cali Burrito.
