Thank you Lindsey for being our service person today. While we don’t typically visit in the afternoon you made our visit so enjoyable. From entering the restaurant with a welcome from Eric to the awesome food, it was a wonderful visit. See you all soon
This place was amazing! The atmosphere, the food, and the service was a 10 all the way!! We had a great waiter named Phil who really made the experience a great and memorable one. The food was much better than I ever imagined starting with the stuffed mushroom caps!! Great lighting and relaxing aura, Custom drinks too!! A++
Our favorite spot on Federal Hill for lunch or dinner. Authentic home-made Italian dishes served in a great environment with Italian crooners Sinatra,Tony Bennett and others serenading you during your visit. Staff is attentive and friendly. You can't miss if you want the real Federal Hill experience.
Have never had a bad meal in the 26+ years I have been coming here. I have been here for Thanksgiving ( great turkey dinner) and multiple dinners inside and outside on their lovely patio. The first time I ever had gnocchi was here and it is the best. Often we get a dinner plate of it to share at the table as an appetizer. I have brought numerous out of state friends and relatives and it has always been a celebration. Food and service are always stellar. I love that it can be a tightly packed venue-- it adds to the general charm of being on Federal Hill. It can get loud at times which makes it hard for my aging ears to hear my table's conversation, but it is a testament to how much fun everyone is having. The prices are typical of the area, not unreasonable, and the portions are large. I do recommend it highly.
Great food, fantastic service. Wish I was staying longer in Providence to try them again. Pasta was excellent. Would love to try the Al Fresco dining.
My only 'issue' was that I was seated near the kitchen door. Noisy seat with dishes banging and staff congregating. Food and service far made up for this. If not noisy I would have rated 5 stars easily.
Would be a good place to bring a date.
