What's not to love on Federal Hill! We stopped in for lunch on a Tuesday afternoon, we were seated immediately. We used the rear valet entrance. If you know the area the parking lot is behind the restaurant. I had a chicken parmigiana sandwich, the others had a cheese ravioli plate & veal w/peppers & fried calamari. No complaints on quality of the food. However here's what I wasn't a fan of, the portions especially the veal! Definitely not enough for my husband! This also wasn't offered w/any sides other than the bread that was brought to the table. The calamari wasn't enough for 2 people to split & I ate the entire portion, was really delicious!! I wish they would have offered fries or a salad or even a pickle w/my sandwich. The staff was friendly. The interior is decorated w/photos of years ago, a train on track will travel if you insert a coin. I would return but I truly expected much more from a Federal Hill restaurant.

Stopped by for dinner with the family, first night in Providence, couldn't have picked a better place. Food was amazing (even restaurant week specials available!). The staff was great, Jane was especially helpful and friendly, we felt like family right away, would highly recommend!

Delicious home made food. If you are a local, you most likely will find someone you know. Good place to meet. Everyone knows it.

Old style family friendly, kid friendly casual Italian restaurant. Food is reliably good, service is quick and friendly and prices are good. A good choice if you want to avoid the higher priced places a little farther down the road.
