Amazing food. Got the fried chicken dinner with potato salad and creamy slaw. Chicken was fried perfectly. Juicy, crunchy, the breading had a great flavor. The potato salad was different than the types I usually have which are mayo based. These were more mustard based and delicious. Slaw was perfect. Will be going back for sure.

Our kind of comfort foods. Great place that serves classic southern foods. Tasty fried chicken with various side dishes you're gonna love. Good price as well. Very recommended.

Being born and raised in South Carolina I have definitely had my fair share of southern food, Bucktown definitely nails that classic southern food momma cooked feel and taste. From the first bite of the collard green to the last bite of the chicken biscuits. It has truly been the most enjoyable food experience I've had in the last 7 years while traveling the United States.

I went in looking for chicken breasts and found out they don't serve them. So I went with the tenders and fries, a side of Mac n cheese, and a side of slaw. The mac n cheese was ok, the slaw decent but a little too vinegary for me. The waffle fries were awesome. The chicken was perfection. A nice light batter, great flavor, and just juicy enough. The girl that took my order was patient, extremely helpful, and really pleasant. A really nice experience.
