The Slow Rhode

I had dinner and drinks with three friends at Slow Rhode this weekend and it was an awesome experience. We tried lots of different things and every dish was great. The menu may be a little limited but everything on the menu is delicious. Plus, it was only $55 per person with a tip that showed appreciation for the great service. You should absolutely check it out!

Good flavors, good drinks. The menu had a lot going for it and the chef doesn't hold back on spice especially with the hot fried chicken. My only complaint was that the dishes sometimes felt like mugs of great flavor that just didn't blend flawlessly together

I did a google search and found this restaurant. Had the fish fillet sandwich and it was great! My sister got the duck drum sticks and she was licking her fingers afterward. I did take out but went to the restaurant to check the place out. It is small but very fashionable. Lived in NYC for 20 yrs. and it reminds me of the kinda place I would see downtown. Very much worth the trip to this place. ????????

An amazing spot for small groups, dates, or a solo night out, the Slow Rhode is one of my new favorite spots in Providence. Their menu isn’t super extensive, either with food or what’s on tap, but from what I hear it rotated fairly often. Not to mention the food is fantastic, and the prices are unbelievably low. The bartender was very attentive and never left me waiting for long even though the bar was full. Also my food came out in less then 10 minutes. This place is definitely worth a stop.

My go-to spot, great for dates, hanging out, or going solo. Not sure if this is a bar first with incredible food, or a restaurant first with awesome cocktails. The bartenders and servers are always fantastic and friendly, and remember us and our drink orders after being in only a few times. The food is worth stopping there alone, with a somewhat rotating menu that I would describe as too gourmet to be considered bar food, but for bar food prices. Seating includes tables, bar, and outdoor. I’ve never brought anyone here who didn’t like everything about it.
