Try Dip Dish appetizers for 6 different spreads & Mediterranean Mule! Main dishes are all good so you won’t make any mistakes when you visit here.
It’s a cozy environment with welcoming wooden tables. Recommend for a nice night out with a partner or friends!
Menu looked so tempting. It was a difficult choice but settled on the gyro, which was delicious served with a small.crispy tomato and feta salad and salted fries. Server Valerie was professional and friendly. When we couldn't decide on a full sized dessert, she brought us tasty cookies gratis. Prices reasonable. Lovely atmosphere with white lights all around. Highly recommend!
Starting with the good. Kleos has a great location in the heart of Providence. Parking can be hard but valet is offered as well.
Inside you will find a rather tight seating arrangement with small bar. Outdoor tables are available. Our waiter was a pleasure and very accommodating and made a suggestion to try the sample plate which was outstanding.
Sticking with my norm I ordered the rather expensive Gyros Plate that was to be served with fries and a salad.
What arrived was a typical presentation for this type of meal. However, I found the salad to be lack luster. The big pieces of feta cheese on the top was interesting but didn't really offer much to help. The biggest issue was the Gyro itself in that it was extremely dry and salty. This really needed the help of the tzatziki but surprisingly there was little to be found, a few cuts of tomatoes and onions just about rescued this. I found the fries to be overcooked as well.
I may give this place another try as the other reviews suggest it may have just have been an off night. At the least for my meal.
Scallops were cooked perfectly. The pasta with butter and cheese was a hit with kiddo. The spanikopita was... just okay. Something about it, some flavor was unusual and made the whole experience a little off. Overall beautiful environment.
Would definitely recommend this place. The ambience, staff and the service is nice. Should definitely try the calamari.
