Pickerel

It was a cold rainy night and what better hankering but for ramen. It had great reviews, some that said it didn't have much seating and the website said no reservations, so we took the chance. Outside of bar top seating, there are mostly 2 person tables. Keep that in mind if you want to go out with friends. It's a very narrow layout but a very intimate setting. The short menu makes it easy to pick from and you can't go wrong with anything. The Rhode Island Red ramen was awesome, just enough spice to warm the bones. I can't wait to come back and try the others.

I tried Pickerel for the first time a couple months ago and keep coming back because it is so delicious and cozy! The service is wonderful and the food is so flavorful and fresh. They have the coolest ceramic dish ware and warm lighting that makes for a lovely night out. They have great vegan and vegetarian options on the menu, even for dessert! All around wonderful restaurant and worth the wait if there is one :))

Lovely ambiance and delicious ramen! The bread pudding was decadent - highly recommend.
I would have given the place 5 stars, had our server not messed up our orders (they originally brought out the wrong order for me, and neither of our ramens came with an egg even though we explicitly asked to add one)

We tried the pork as well as the vegetarian ramen. They were both delicious and satisfying! I wasn't expecting much from the vegetarian ramen but it surprisingly stood up to the pork. You can tell that they pay attention to details and try to innovate and it really comes through! It makes everything they offer really special. Their cocktails, beer, and house-made ice cream are also really good. All the servers and bartenders were really warm and welcoming as well. Will definitely return!!
