Everyone should know at Ran Zan they are going to find the best and most fresh sushi in Rhode Island. Your hosts (the owners) are husband & wife. They are wonderful, warm people. You will always feel welcomed and you will always leave happy. Don’t be fooled by the small storefront. There may not be neon lights or a large bar, but the amazing food will definitely make an impression & keep you coming back ????

Superb little shop with great food and even greater staff. Their sake selection is fantastic and their menu varied.

I typically swing by once every two months when I pass through and I've never been disappointed. Their strawberry and melon sodas are a guilty pleasure and their sushi superb. The snow crab & asparagus rolls are to die for. There are plenty of noodle options, as well as meats prepared in a variety of ways.

Prices are affordable and every staff member rocks. It's been the same faces for years.

If you're trying to park, you're in luck on the weekends - there are parking spots in the gas station lot, along the wall, that are available during the weekends. During the day, they may get towed if the mechanics are backlogged.

Love this place!! Great sushi but nothing stupid or frilly. It's simple honest to God sushi. The owners are there daily and make the sushi! They're super nice and very good on service. Sushi comes out pretty fast even though it's one guy making it, and he's also making it with love!!

Ran Zan was awesome. Sushi out of this world. I had a rainbow roll (tuna, salmon, white fish) and dragon roll (eel). So fresh and tasty. There was not a lot of seating and the place was full. However I love that it made it more intimate and I love when people want my seat. Go there now, you'll be happy!
