The crab fritters were very oily. I could only eat a few, the beignets were good, not very light or flaky, I enjoyed one. They are a bit filling. My friend got a burger and had to bring it back to have it cooked more. My friend who ordered the bread pudding said it was good. She ate all of it. It looked heavy and yummy. The menu is limited but offers the opportunity to try new things.
I’ve had almost everything on the menu. Everything is awesome! Today I had the bread pudding and almost lost my socks. It is incredibly delicious!
The staff is crazy friendly, the ambiance is lovely and they have Hitachino beer!
Really great spot! Should have taken some pictures of the food but it was all so good.
Big fan of the crab cakes there! The sauce that it comes with is fantastic too. As a Marylander, I have a high standard for them (not exactly as I'd have back home but they were breaded properly).
The loaded tots were awesome (crispy with a good mix of sauces and cheeses) and the fish fritters were really good too.
The short rib corns were like tiny strips of corn on the cob that were unique (hadn't seem anything like them before, wish I took a picture) but looking back I'd probably have more tots or fish.
Good beer selection with a few wines.
The lighting was perfect, the service was really good, all the food came out quickly and everything came out hot.
It's a cool mix of casual and dining in, very cool set up and concept.
Came in a little later and they still brought their A+ game. Give them a shot, you won't regret it!
Recently tried out the newly opened Asian fusion restaurant on Hope Street by the park. The location is lovely, but the experience was a bit mixed. We opted for the Denden noodle and Chicken Sando. The Denden noodle had a very exotic flavor from China, which was interesting but a bit overpowering for my taste. One of my friends struggled to finish it.
As for the Chicken Sando, we were surprised to find it closer to a chicken burger than the Japanese-style sandwich we anticipated. While tasty, we hoped for more vegetables besides just pickles. The lemonade was served in a can, which was unexpected. We also tried the Oishi beer from Chicago with ginger flavor, which was a unique touch. The interior design was lacking, but given that they just opened last week, I hope they'll consider updating the paint colors and adding more decor elements like plants. Overall, it has potential, and I'm interested to see how they evolve over time.
Great new spot! Very casual and cozy! I love the food options, especially the Dan Dan Noodles and crab cakes. They also have a nice selection of beers/wine. And some delicious beignets for a sweet finish. The staff is super friendly!
