My friend and I were on our way home from Old Mystic Village and she looked up places to eat on our way home. This came up and we were extremely pleased!! Excellent service, very clean, and food was excellent. Would recommend!!

Today me and my friend went there for the first time since renovated at 10:30 am
The waitress and manager were great. However the cook seemed to have a serious attitude problem, my friend ordered a simple BLT sandwich, the cook told the waitress NO he wouldn't make it.
Makes me wonder, who's running the place and why have a manager if he can't control the staff(cook)
Don't know if I'll ever go back.

This place has only been open since late summer, so ignore the older reviews. Just had a great omelet and bagel breakfast with coffee being $1.65 with free refills. Total bill was $15+. Super staff, wicked clean place, cotton napkins, great fresh food. Don’t pass by, it’s a great place!

Something old something new. Formally knows as Brick Oven for years. The his was a local go to breakfast spot and popular with the in season tourists. After over a year waiting for the reopening under new ownership it did not disappoint. Brick, from the old name and Grills is not a form of cooking, but a nod to the family that now owns it. For the local community this name has given much to the town of Ashaway. The Grills are the brick and mortar of this town. It have been restored and refurbished like a fine antique. Comfort and clean is the feeling you get when you walk in the door. The kitchen takes such pride in taking days to make the perfect farm to table fire house sausage from local farms. The hash takes days to make and is homemade delicious. The chicken and waffles with a spin on it adding sausage gravy. The fruit that is a delicious garnish, is aged to tender perfection before carefully carved for each serving. Sold home fries! And the coffee is unmistakably local Dave’s coffee. Full bar with dinner offered few night a week. Stop by for breakfast and enjoy the friendly feel for locals and out of towners.
