“We were recommended Celeste from our tour guide Yuri(sp) at URI. We were a little nervous as we were told this was only the second night open envisioning long waits or missing menu items. All fears quickly disappeared as Celeste revealed itself to be a warm, well rehearsed, ready for prime time dining experience. The environment doesn't feel like it was pulled out of a casual or fine dining style book. Warm incandescent lighting shines on white paneling in an interior that feels both cozy and open at the same time. There was a pretty healthy crowd, but we could easily converse without straining to hear one another. The food was phenomenal. We ordered several small plates including the shrimp, lamb meatballs, patatas bravas and the fig and prosciutto pizza. Only the Patatas Bravas was a bit disapointing, overly sauced in a gravy that we felt didn't accurately reflect this iconic tapas staple. Minor hiccup. Every other dish was cooked amazingly well, with a great portion size even for small plates. Drinks were well made and the whole meal was well beyond a great value. For lunch, our family of three spent almost 60 dollars at Shake Shack. At Celeste we spent $95 and that included drinks! I can't remember the last time we had a meal that was this good of a value. Service was impeccable. Dishes came out incredibly fast and our server was attentive and friendly enough without being onerous. Celeste has a bright future.”

“Perfectly scrumptious!!! I got 3 sandwiches; Mortadella Fritto, Cubano, and Calabrese. The Mortadella Fritto sandwich has a perfect ratio between bread, meat, and vegetables which creates a perfect texture with its well seasoned flavors in each bite and that sneaky crunchy texture of salt & vinegar chips in the mixture made it very special. So scrumptious! The Cubano sandwich has the right amount of mustard and meat but what I enjoyed the most was the bread! The carefully pressed on the griddle to create that perfect crust made this sandwich to be craved for! The Calabrese sandwich would be my everyday go-to one. The tomatoes, red onions, and lettuce made it refreshing and the good quality cold cuts were very delicious. And on top of all these awesome sandwiches, the salted brownie was a nice treat to finish up the meal — big meal! Lol But what made everything very special about this place is the friendly service. 💖 I will be back here again! Maybe I will get to try Bahn Mi and Focaccia sandwiches here next time! Update: I had my leftover Calabrese sandwich for lunch yesterday. It was 2 days old and sat in my fridge. So the bread was a bit soggy and the lettuce was a little wilted as expected but what I didn’t expect was I kept saying how delicious it was while chomping it down with joy. Yes, it was indeed a very delicious sandwich even it was 2 days old!”

“We just came in to pick up a quick coffee but stayed for at least 30 mins talking to the owners Paul, Antoneta and the nonna, I love this place! As soon as you enter it reminds me of a cafe in Italy 🇮🇹 I definitely recommend it for small, cosy meeting places, bring your laptop to do some work or a great hangout place with table and chairs, outdoor seating and couches. The baked food is great! The atmosphere is so chilled, service is wonderful and the owners are amazing and they speak Italian that was refreshing!!! You will get a bit of Italy right in RI! We were so lucky to find this place. I’m definitely going back to being the rest of my family.”

“Best pizza around where I live hands down. The garlic Parmesan dry rub wings that I forget to get a pic of were incredible. The pizza which had the 🍕 most delicious sauce and crispy crust I ever had and went great at my favorite brewery near by. They also have a Detroit style pizza which blew me away. Thick and delicious. “I stopped to get 2 tacos. I went with the fish taco and the birria taco. OMG the birria was amazing. I didn't want to put anything else on it because the flavor was so delicious!! I could eat a bowl of that alone. The soft tacos are soft corn tortillas. I don't normally like corn tortillas but obviously these homemade were not your average tortilla. I will definitely be back.”

“My wife and I elected a 'dine and stay' package to celebrate New Year's Eve at the General Stanton Inn, which we enjoyed immensely. The owners did a great job of retaining the Inn's incredible historic charm, while remodeling the rooms and kitchen/bar. Our room was impeccable, the owner and staff could not be more accommodating, and our dinner was awesome in a relaxed atmosphere. Bonus - live music from the Van Pelt duo was a lot of fun. We may have found our new NYE tradition. We live about 30 minutes from the Inn, and we're planning to grab dinner at the restaurant again soon.”
