Lobster roll was nice. Had mostly claw and tail pieces. Roll was toasted dry so you may want to ask them to place a little butter on before they toast. Clam cakes were good but hardly any clams in them. Salad with tuna on top tasted good and reasonably priced. Overall I was not disappointed. It hit my sweet spot for my lobster craving.
Aunt Carries is a great RI tradition in the Summertime.I love the history of the restaurant and have been visiting the place my whole life as a native Rhode Islander! The place is super clean and the staff are great, hardworking, friendly and polite!
I ordered the “Seafood box” which sounded great, it includes a mix of the fried seafood offered on the menu.
Including clams, strips, scallops, shrimp, flounder, fries and 1 (one) clam cake!
Menu also says that it comes with a slice of homemade bread and butter. which I never received with my order.
I was disappointed with the portion size considering the $ 26 price. The box was loaded with French fries just dumped on top. Once the fries were removed it looked pretty sad. I literally counted 3 fried scallops. Oh well.
My daughter order the combo of clam cake and white chowder. The chowder was fresh and tasted great! Lot of clams! Unfortunately the clam cakes were too well done, and should have never left the kitchen. But overall the food was good and will definitely continue to dine there take out and sit in.
Service was very good. Food not bad but have had much better.
Great people and the food is amazing. I love this place. Good vibes right on the water - worth it for the view alone.
The food was soo good. We loved it. Service was awesome. One of those great places you wouldn't know was there.
