The Salty General

The Salty General is the SPOT for sandwiches! Both the Cubano and the Trotter were delicious. The bread and ingredients were super fresh and the portion sizes were unmatched. You can tell the owners love making people happy with their amazing menu. 10/10 experience. Btw…get the brownie…it is a perfect sweet treat!

I stopped in here for the first time! Super friendly and clean and our sandwiches were amazing!!! The flavors in the Sprout sandwich which I added turkey to was delicious-the multigrain bread it came on I wish I could have a loaf of for home!!! My husband got the Roast and said it was excellent! Let’s not leave out the most amazing brownie that he through in as a thank you! One of the best ever tasting brownies! Will certainly be going back!!

Perfectly scrumptious!!!

I got 3 sandwiches; Mortadella Fritto, Cubano, and Calabrese.

The Mortadella Fritto sandwich has a perfect ratio between bread, meat, and vegetables which creates a perfect texture with its well seasoned flavors in each bite and that sneaky crunchy texture of salt & vinegar chips in the mixture made it very special. So scrumptious!

The Cubano sandwich has the right amount of mustard and meat but what I enjoyed the most was the bread! The carefully pressed on the griddle to create that perfect crust made this sandwich to be craved for!

The Calabrese sandwich would be my everyday go-to one. The tomatoes, red onions, and lettuce made it refreshing and the good quality cold cuts were very delicious.

And on top of all these awesome sandwiches, the salted brownie was a nice treat to finish up the meal — big meal! Lol

But what made everything very special about this place is the friendly service. 💖

I will be back here again! Maybe I will get to try Bahn Mi and Focaccia sandwiches here next time!

Update: I had my leftover Calabrese sandwich for lunch yesterday. It was 2 days old and sat in my fridge. So the bread was a bit soggy and the lettuce was a little wilted as expected but what I didn’t expect was I kept saying how delicious it was while chomping it down with joy. Yes, it was indeed a very delicious sandwich even it was 2 days old!

I got the sprout and it was absolutely stunning. Beautiful fresh bread and quality ingredients. Owner was super friendly. Can’t wait to grab another sandwich and bring it to the beach!

We got the Mortadella Fritto (left) and the Calabrese (right). Both delicious! Good service and portions, amazing flavor, soft bread and overall very fresh. Happy to have a good sandwich shop in the neighborhood!
