Alma’s is a gem of a coffee shop and market in Wickford, RI. I finally hit the timing right to pop in, see the market, and grab a drink. The market is pristine with a great local variety of items to choose from. The service was friendly and efficient—I got the iced cardamom latte with oatmilk. I had a little bit of sticker shock with the latte price being just over $8.00 total, but the speciality iced drinks do cost more, plus I added oatmilk. The espresso itself was great, but next time I’d stick to a cold brew.
I look forward to going back and trying more of the food menu next time since everything looks so fresh and delicious. (I’ve got my eye on the tofu bahn mi or the 8 1/2 caprese!)
Best sandwich I’ve ever eaten is the Turkey club from here. Close second place is the Reuben and the Friendsgiving special sandwich. Olive oil cake is to die for. Smoothies are also awesome. Everything I’ve tried is a 10/10. GREAT place for lunch. People are incredibly friendly as well.
Alma’s delivers on taste and satiation every time! Each item on their menu is specially curated with unique flavors, and their retail section contains gourmet pantry items, great for yourself or a gift! Many of their offerings are gluten free and they have several vegan options which keep me coming back! Their Sprout and Tofu Bhan Mi are personal favorites, along with the Carmelita for dessert 🤤
Really yummy sandwiches and Lattes. A little over priced but, sort of expected. Knead donuts is a plus. Pretty much take out only except for a couple tables on the sidewalk @amp_eats (instagram and Facebook)
They should really consider putting their food items online, for if it weren’t for close friends we wouldn’t have known they have lunch. I had the muffuletta and my wife had the burrata, tomato & pesto sandwich. Both were excellent, both served on herbed focaccia which also was excellent. Outside eating only, so not sure how that will work come winter other than take out only. Knowing we were eating outside, the young lady still brought the food in a paper bag, which isn’t the most attractive delivery method.
