Meldgie's Rivers Edge Cafe

Food was great and the service was just as great. They where so busy but they treated my family like we were the only ones there. Thanks for the great service and food guys. Keep up the good work. Will definitely go again.

Meldgie's is our reliable breakfast location and is typically not so busy that a wait to be seated is required. The service is always quick, attentive and friendly. We like the fact that they serve local eggs on the breakfast menu...if you enjoy the local farms, you need to give them the business or they turn into a shopping plaza! The food itself is no frills but tasty and served in short order. Don't forget to consider the lengthy daily specials menu when you visit.

One of my all time favorite restaurants. Very local and friendly place with great food. They always have new specials for breakfast and lunch.

Never fails to disappoint, the staff is always very nice and the food is always absolutely delicious! Inside is cozy and there are booths, tables, and a bar area. Good prices for what you are getting, and a wide variety too! I keep coming back again and again; for a couple years now it has been my favorite.

After spending the last week eating in sub par to terrible (Breakfast Nook?) Breakfast places, I found the best breakfast in Wakefield/South Kingstown. The food was well cooked, it was very flavorful, and it was reasonably priced. In addition to great food at a good price, Nancy was one of the best wait staff I have ever had!!! This place is excellent!!!
