A great restaurant for families and large groups. There is something here for everyone. A lot of salad choices and a few sandwich options for vegetarians and vegans. Huge variety of pastry and dessert options up front. Reasonable prices and excellent waitstaff.
When I am in Westerly/Watch Hill area I usually stop here for lunch. The food is very fresh and the atmosphere is open, airy and casually comfortable. I especially like a cup of soup with the quiches and side salads. I'm a quiche fan and they do a nice job with them. I've seen sandwiches that come out to other customers and they look very fresh and appetizing too. I agree that it can be a little noisy but it's an open place. They also have a front outside porch/seating area. I also agree a couple of the wait staff could kick it up a notch in the "friendly customer service" category. But when they're busy, that's how it goes....I gave five stars because for the price, the food, and the type of cafe The Cooked Goose is you won't find much better!
Great breakfasts, and regular meals here too. It is so popular, that it can take a while to find a table to be seated at. The food is first class and there is a wide variety to choose from. On the way towards Watch Hill, this is a great place to visit. Parking is round the back and there is wheelchair access for disabled people. There are public restrooms here.
Great experience. Food very good. Atmosphere comfortable and chill, a bit loud. Service a touch slow.
Food was good and portions definitely satisfactory, although the Italian bread in place of English muffins for the eggs Benedict just didn't work well and took away from the classic. Sausage gravy was divine. Loved the carafe of delicious coffee. Price was comparative to other places for breakfast/lunch .
