“I was a bit skeptical when I walked in the door. It's a classic case of don't judge a book by its cover. The atmosphere is very relaxed. The staff are very courteous and explain everything very well. I ordered the grill cheese with creamy tomato soup. This is the adult version of what you ate as a kid. The soup was simple, the way it should be, nothing over the top added to try and doctor it up. The grilled cheese was very creamy, thanks to the goat cheese. Our server, Mark was on top of everything, being attentive and actually spending time to talk. It's definitely worth the wait for the food.”

“I've been eating here for 30yrs and the food has never changed, the BEST!! It's hard to find really good chinese food anymore, everything has changed into the fast greasy slop we know today. I'm so happy they haven't changed their recipes in all these years and the same chef is still there! “I found this place fun and the band was excellent. This particular night I went they had a reggae band in from Boston. Although they did start late after 10:00 they sounded fantastic. They saying a lot of Bob Marley tunes that the average person doesn't hear which was nice. And also saying a couple of songs that everybody knew. From what I gathered listening to what other people were saying they do have many good groups in there. And apparently an open mic but I'm not sure when that is.”

“We got their menu in the mail. First thing we tried were the Po Boy sandwiches..Mine was the Haddock the other was shrimp. Both were very good and I was excited to see Haddock on the menu. We also got the crab bites and hush puppies. Both were very good! The second time we ordered ordered the combo shrimp, crayfish and crab with butter garlic sauce. It was fantastic. The only issue is when you order this to go you should include claw crackers it was hard to open the crab. We also got the garlic noodles that was excellent! Also you might want to think about offering corn bread for all that excellent sauce! You have made regulars out of us! We are fans of seafood and New Orleans style food!”

“Ordered two bowls of the same stuff. One of the bowls was lacking ingredients, and was mostly full of just white rice more than anything. Barely any sauce either. I was eating a bowl of bland white rice. Please fill these bowls with the ingredients that people ask for, otherwise it is not worth paying for this. Also, very limited choices compared to other Poke locations. This place is brand new, so there is plenty of space for improvement. Looking forward to those improvements.”

“We stopped by for lunch today and really enjoyed it. I had the corned beef hot dog special (corned beef, sauerkraut, onions, yellow mustard) and my husband had the Rhody (meat sauce, yellow mustard, diced onion, celery salt). We split the crab fries (fries with Old Bay and a side of cheese sauce). Toppings on the hot dogs were plentiful and flavorful. The cheese sauce with the fries was the real deal - not bright orange gloop. Definitely appreciated the extra napkins. Al was friendly and had some really helpful ideas on things to do in the area. Definitely worth a trip!”
