Bojangles' Famous Chicken 'n Biscuits

It was a little slow this morning. But when I expressed my concern on being late for work the cashier was understanding and did double time for me. I really appreciated it!

Bojangles has some good chicken and the biscuits are just right.. Love it

We are writing mid June 2015. It was a hot summer night down in South Carolina. I had accidentally landed on this foreign soil all the way from Northern Europe. Now, in the aftermath of a date that went very wrong I was forced to take on a 6mile hike home on my own. The sun had just gone down when I started walking on the main road back towards Graniteville. My phone ran out of battery soon, and in a 95° heat I walked between the lanes, since there was no sidewalk accompanying this Highway. Soon enough I realized it might have been an impossible task to take on, but I had no choice than to keep walking.
But then, from a distance, I spotted the solemn saving neon lights coming from America’s friendliest Bojangles’ restaurant. I climbed up the hill between Highway and parking lot, to walk up to their drive through. The lady in the window didn’t seem to judge me for my sweaty and car-less appearance, nevertheless informed me of the restaurant being just closed though. I replied I was indeed not intending to buy food, (sorry!) but that I was in need of help. I asked her if any of the crew members happened to be driving “down the road, just West” after shift. She left the window and asked around the kitchen. In a matter of a couple minutes, a young man was let off early. He met me in the parking lot and exclaimed in deep Southern a friendly “GAL? What are you DOIN out here?” This man drove me all the way back home, no questions asked.
The staff of this Bojangles by Aiken South Carolina goes above and beyond for their customers. Five stars for outstanding service and a mention in a book I might write one day. This goes out to entire staff of summer 2015 and the management of that fateful day. best. drive though. ever.

I've had this place a good bit of times. The only thing I get is the biscuit and gravy combo with a sweet tea. Staff is polite and food is always fresh and hot. Tea at times can kick ya with diabetes. But sweet is better than watered down.

Bojangles offers some of the most enjoyable chicken dishes in the fast food industry. On my most recent visit the food was as good as ever. However I can't say the same for restaurant as a whole. Almost immediately after our arrival the staff gave the appearance of not being exactly interested in their work. We were waited on by a young lady that was making every effort to offer good service. However, the remainder of the staff appeared preoccupied with other interest talking among themselves and seemingly almost oblivious to their purpose.
The biggest surprise came when we went searching for a table. We had to search for one that didn't appear to be previously used, in some cases by several people. There were certainly enough staff available and business was very slow during our visit that there should have been ample time and resources to clean the restaurant. Normally we enjoy this restaurant and have no complaints at all. Sadly we can't report that our most recent visit was anything more than borderline. Hopefully the restaurant will correct the problems and get back to a all around quality experience for visitors
