Some of the best southern comfort food I’ve had in a long time. You might overlook the restaurant because of the exterior, but you’d surely be missing out. The food and service were excellent.

Very nice customer service/staff and very taste and affordable for seafood. Very cozy place.

Very good fried fish with fried okra. Good price. Boys didn't like fried much but chicken fingers and hush puppies were hits.

Best food in Beaufort by Jason who worked as Chef at chain seafood restaurants in FL & TX: we went for our brother's Marines graduation at Parris island.. this small restaurant is near the road w all the Inns and hotels (hidden in the Big Lots strip mall) but the price is catered to locals and full of seafood and other southern flavor dishes.. we went there twice! For the 2 days we spent in the area... The Bay + Carteret Street restaurants that cost me double were not near as delicious but those did come with bay, bridge and park views. I highly recommend this place if you care more about the food vs presentation. We had the supreme seafood broiled and fried the next day, fish n grits, oxtail, smothered pork, 1/2 pint fried liver, meatloaf and tried all the sides.. didn't take a pix of everything.. we just digged in ;p my family loves to eat & r foodies. If I ever go back to that area.. would def swing by again!

Friendly service, good portions, and reasonably priced meals. This is where the locals go! You could go other places in town and spend $20+ on fish and shrimp but why? Jason's has got the tastiest sides to go with your entree, virtually no wait time and great service for a fraction of the price.
