La Nopalera Restaurant

The food here is delicious and authentic. Drinks are not a heavy pour also not light on alcohol! Great place to stop in for some quick tacos or have a family dinner.

We have been going to La Nopalera for the last 3 years while living in Beaufort. It’s hands down the best Mexican food in Beaufort with another location on Lady’s Island. The menu has a large selection of items not traditionally offered at other Mexican restaurants as well as the standard items. The portions are large and the prices are very reasonable. The food tastes great and the service is always good.

This restaurant was a pleasant surprise during our last visit to Beaufort. After working up an appetite while strolling around Bay Street, our group decided to have lunch. La Nopalera was a short drive away. Although it's appearance is not fancy, the food is delicious! Everyone in our group loved the kind and prompt service and tasty meals that were set before us.

The area and parking lot need lighting and some major curb appeal as it gives off a very dirty uninviting vibe . The inside is decorated very authentic mexican culture but could use a deep cleaning. The food selection was amazing. the taste was amazing and they give you a ton of food. We ordered two huge dinners and a side if cheese dip and two kids menus plus adult beverages and our bill after tax was only $ 58 . Well worth it.
