Lady's Island Dockside

It was great! The she crab soup was amazing! One of the best parts of the whole experience was our server. I think his name was Taylor. He's smart, prepared and has a humble and kind demeanor. Wish we could have tipped him double! Good job, Dockside!

On a recent vacation to the Beaufort area, my boyfriend and I went out to dinner at the Dockside for our first night in town. The out of this world cornbread, scallop piccata, and key lime pie led us to actually bookend our trip with it as well! It was just as good the first night as it was the last! The service we received both nights was fantastic, and the golden hour views from our outside patio tables were amazing. I highly recommend the Dockside! I just wish we could transplant it back to Tennessee with us!

Food was top notch! The Crispy Scored Flounder meal was top 5 of all meals I have ever eaten! Flavor explosion. Fried green tomatoes were very tasty! Our server, Jordan was a true waiter and she took super care of us! Awesome date night with my wife!!

Have been here twice. Good both times. First time soft crab season. They didn't try to over do the soft crab. Let that lovely crab flavor come through. I'm from Maryland! Don't be messing with my crabs!! They did a good job. second time. Nice steamed shrimp and a side salad. All good. a tip! Get the sauce they serve with the fried mushrooms, for your steamed shrimp. quite good!!

My wife and I visited Dockside during our trip to the low country. We got there at opening (4pm) and there was already a line! Be prepared to wait to get into this scenic location.

Once seated we were attentively served by Samantha. She had a great attitude and despite the flood of guests was able to give us great service!

The cornbread served before dinner is moist and delicious. My wife found it a bit sweet for her liking, but I found it quite good. I followed that up with a delicious Caesar salad and the special (stuffed lobster, crab cluster, and fried shrimp). My wife had the steamed crab. The crab was seasoned with old Bay which added a nice flavor layer to this wonderful dish.

Our meal was delicious and we definitely left satiated! Service was great, the views were fantastic. Couldn't ask for much more!
