Melrose Beach Club & Pool

WellEr went in the evening. It was pretty quiet, but well worth a visit. Calamari was the best we had had since coming to the us, same with the crab cake. Food took a long time but was worth the wait.

Our families (11 of us total; 4 adults and the rest were kids!!) had the most wonderful time here this evening! We had to call to book a reservation but it was soooo easy and they were eager to accommodate us. The views are gorgeous and you have the option to sit outside or in. Our waitress was perfect and took our orders happily. Everything came out as ordered and in a timely manner. The owner spoke to us AND refilled drinks! We loved the hospitality we were shown and felt comfortable. It's our second time to the island and were pleasantly surprised to see Melrose Beach Club open this time. We love all the cute places on the island but it was nice to have a sit down meal infront of the ocean!!

Great local place you can walk to... good food, friendly, hardworking wait staff.
The only downside was dinner took 2 hours, so just plan accordingly.
Reservations required every time.

After many boating trips around Hilton Head, our family finally decided to tour Daufuskie Island. Taking the Ferry over and renting a couple golf carts for the day. A unique experience to see the island. One of our favorite parts of the day was ending up at the Beach Club. The kids enjoyed finding hermit crabs on the beach and after we relaxed on the porch a with drinks. Kevin went out of his way along with other staff to make sure our family had a good experience.

Melrose Beach Club and Pool is one of my kids' favorite places on the island! The pool is absolutely beautiful, with plenty of places to sit with umbrellas that you can open. The inside has a nice bar and restaurant. You can either sit on the screened deck area or the dining room area. It is very apparent that the staff here really wants this place to do well. The service and the food is excellent!!
