The Salty Dog Cafe

The Salty Dog Cafe is by far my favorite place to visit while on the island! With great food choices and view of Braddock Bag while you eat, it’s perfect there. With The Salty Dog Ice Cream right there too (homemade!), it calls for a perfect afternoon treat, or during the evening. South Beach Marina also offers so many shops too. I always have to pick up a Salty Dog t shirt while I’m there. Definitely worth it! ????

Well, it's iconic, and not cheap, but it didn't price me out either. Everything I tasted was done really well, and I wish we could have tried some of the appetizers, but we were only there for lunch. It's right on the water, they have activities for children on certain days and music in the evenings. They certainly cater to tourists, and the experience is really nice all around, with shops adjacent on the marina. Plus, they're only open until 10, so if you're staying nearby, you won't be bothered by noise.

Great food, excellent service by Alex. During our meal it started to storm so our servers moved us underneath a canopy. Then after dinner my husbands card fell underneath the deck and Derek the manager came out and lifted up the boards to get it out! Can’t say I’ve ever experienced such amazing and accommodating customer service! Thank you so much for your kindness!

We arrived at The Salty Dog around 5:30 and got seated around 6:45, but the entire staff were very nice. They made sure to accommodate our request to sit by the window as well! The food portions were hearty and the food itself was delicious, but the prices were high. It was still very good, and we highly recommend! Make sure you come with an empty stomach!

We love eating at the Salty Dog they have something for everyone there. Something fried, something broiled and veggies too. Sit outside and enjoy watching the marina. The servings are a good size and you will have plenty to eat. Great service. They do not allow dogs like many years ago due to health and safety.
