Alexander's Restaurant & Wine Bar

This place was amazing! We loved it so much that we went back the very next night. We ordered different entrees each time and it was so delicious both nights. The atmosphere was so relaxing, romantic and very enjoyable. The staff was very friendly and the service was fantastic. We went to the early bird special 5 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. and it was very affordable. Alexander's is one restaurant we will always remember and when we return to Hilton Head we will definitely be back.

Our go-to favorite upscale dining experience on the island. Food was excellent especially the house dessert specialty donut! Service was friendly and we love the low country atmosphere. The only regret was their version of some classic mixed drinks that just didn't work for us, still a great night!

Have enjoyed Alexander’s many times, so thought it was a great choice for a Father’s Day dinner. Unfortunately it turned out to be a bit frustrating. On the plus side, all of our food was very good and we enjoyed it thoroughly. On the minus, it took an inordinately long time for the entrees to be served. Obviously something went awry in the kitchen. The frustrating part was that no one spoke with us about what was going on... rather it was easier for us to be ignored until our main courses arrived. This put a damper on the experience. To the staff, I only suggest that communication is better than silence, even when things don’t go as planned. Customers remember how we’re treated just as much as we remember the taste. Hope they can do better next time.
