(August 11, 2019, 2:12 am)Absolutely superb in every sense. I have eaten countless meals in Germany and Alfreds easily tops all of those meals. Small and reservation required (certainly not a negative). Maître d’ has a fun-loving attitude, and it adds to the uniqueness of the experience. Do not come to Hilton Head and skip Alfreds, it would be the mistake of a lifetime. Enjoy!

(August 6, 2019, 1:14 am)This cozy restaurant has a good mix of German, Italian, and seafood meals. My wife got the halibut special. I got the onion soup & the German Mix. We finished the meal off with the Hummingbird cake. Everything was amazing and the staff couldn't have made our experience any better. We're going back Friday!

(June 24, 2019, 11:46 pm)I have been going to Hilton Head Island for 40 years this is the best restaurant on the island. You must have a reservation. This is not a family restaurant this is a foodie restaurant. It took them 8 days to make the gravy from veal bone marrow. Please go here
