    Just left this place with my family and had a great filling southern dinner at this "mom and pop" kinda spot! I ordered the Chicken n' French Toast...super delish! I cleaned the plate!

    GO CHECK THIS PLACE OUT. We went to Low Country Backyard to find a 1.5 hour wait. I found this place on Yelp and called them. There was no wait. Hearing there was no wait scared me a little, but I was pleasantly surprised. The owner wants your business, and he'll work to earn it. The fried chicken, baked beans, fried green tomatoes, and jalapeno pimento cheese dip was great. Everyone in my party of seven enjoyed our food. The servers check on you every 5 minutes. The owner checked on us quite often too. He was very friendly as well. I'll be back here upon my next visit to HHI.

    What a great find tonight. The food was delicious and fresh. We had a variety of entrees including the crab cakes, fried chicken, and pan seared flounder. Service was very nice as well. We'll be back for sure.

    This is a great place for authentic, southern food. They put a lot of love into every dish, and it shows. 4 of us ate there tonight, everyone ordered something different, and all of it tasted great. Throw in good, friendly service, and you have a winner.

    We constantly look for restaurants that we can come back to every year when we visit the island, and this place has definitely made the cut.
