Hudson's Seafood House On The Docks

Hudson’s is always a must have/must visit place. As a local, we love Hudson and how fresh their seafood always is. In season they have long wait times normally, but the wait is worth it. The views, especially on the large deck are great and you can see dolphins swimming nearby often. Great drinks and great food! We go here almost weekly of season as the wait times are much less. Highly recommended.

Great drinks and delicious seafood. The catch of the day is phenomenal. Special shout out to the lady who found my engagement ring in the bathroom and took it to the front desk! As well as the hostess who kept it in a safe for me! Love you guys!

The of the best meals we had while in Hilton Head. Truly delicious! The service was the absolute best part. We had a server named Brian L. He took time to be patient, answer all of our questions, and go above and beyond to make our experience wonderful, especially with our daughter Landree, age 5. He suggested an amazing sandwich for my husband that he is still raving about! This spot has an incredible view, incredible food, and an amazing server I highly recommend requesting! Overall, 10 stars!

I love the location by the water and the dock. The food was delicious and the service outstanding. They had amazing fried green tomatoes. Light batter, yum. The blackened shrimp was okay (seemed a little overdone), but slaw was really tasty and tangy. My family has been coming here for decades!

Can't give Hudson's more than this for a rating. Bottom line, if you are in the mood for a wait for an outside table for dinner, be sure to make it worth the wait by ordering a steak. It wont be the best steak you ever had but it was prepared to the correct temperature. I on the other hand had the seared scallops. They were overcooked as was my wife's stuffed grouper. Our server was prompt, attentive and well informed, service was very good. Seafood could most definitely have been better. Baked potato was also on the small side and overcooked as well. My honest opinion is we won't be back, not enough value for our money and Hilton Head has lots of options for dinner.
