When we began our wedding planning the first thing we decided on was our dinner. Hands down it would be a low country boil. Living far away we knew we wouldn't be aske to test caterers, so we began to call around. When venue hunting, reserving tables, calling photographers, we asked around. Roy's came highly recommended and we were not disappointed. Roy was so helpful and kind and the food was phenomenal!

Roy, Becky, and their team are AMAZING. You have probably read a lot of reviews on different sites trying to decide which catering company to use for your wedding, I know my wife and I did. Do yourself a favor and book Roy's Place! You will not regret it. We live out of town and Becky in particular was such a tremendous help in so many aspects of planning our big day. They know everyone on Hilton Head and were able to connect us with other great vendors too. The food at our reception was fantastic, the staff was polite and helpful, and they set up and broke everything down quickly. I really can't say enough good things about Roy's Place.

When our out- of- town daughter decided to have her beach wedding on Hilton Head Island, the choice of caterer for all of the wedding weekend events was a "no brainer!" Being a resident of HHI, and having attended many events catered by Roy and Becky of “Roy’s Place Catering,” there was no question that we would ask them to work with us to make our wedding as special and beautiful as those we had attended. Until we became actual “customers,” we didn’t realize that their services to us would go way beyond the food and beverage aspect. They were a great help to us in: making recommendations for the selection of venues; giving ideas for setting up and decorating the venues; choosing menu items and beverages (working within our budget); and actually coordinating the progression of activities on the wedding day. Roy and Becky are two of the kindest, most generous, and patient people we have ever met. They certainly aim to please, and please they did!!! Our guests are still raving about the excellent food, the professional and pleasant staff members who were so accommodating, and the over-all perfect example of “Southern Hospitality” that they experienced throughout the weekend----at the hands of Roy and Becky, and their amazing staff. Very honestly, without the guidance and personal attention we received from the day we hired them until the last weekend event, I know our wedding experience would not have been the special weekend that our guests continue to tell us they enjoyed so very much, and we would not have been so stress-free and able to relax and actually enjoy the occasion!
