Wonderful experience! The fries are perfectly seasoned, and the sweet potato fries are so good, they taste like sweet potato casserole in fry form! Fried chicken was absolute perfection, the peach coleslaw was amazing and unique, and topping it all off with the pecan pie in a cup was a showstopping way to end the meal. Staff were very helpful and informative, and made my time there even better. Special shout out to Madeline for being so awesome - she was an absolute gem and made the experience that much better!! Can't wait to come back again!!! Also, really appreciate their commitment to recycling and biodegradable products, really something special.

Always great food. So thankful for the new location. Love the sandwiches with bacon jam and pimiento cheese. Cannot go wrong with fried green tomaties as the side. Peach coleslaw is a "Love it, or hate it" thing.

Why did the chicken cross the road? To be on the Boxcar Betty! This place is good! I was originally intrigued by this place because the name has a striking resemblance to my daughter's favorite fictional character's favorite novel, Boxcar Bonnie. Needless to say this place did not disappoint. Huge chicken breast filet on the sandwich with lots of flavor and cooked to perfection. Topped with peach slaw and pimento cheese, an SC staple, just added to the chickens greatness. If one of these is near you, stop by ASAP. Highly recommend.

One of the best chicken sandwiches you can get, above Chick Fila.... they only have a few menu items but what they do have they do very well. Also their ice cream / pecan pie dessert is very very good too and I would recommend getting it if you had room left after dinner.

Fried chicken salad. Better than I hoped for; super fresh veggies, perfect chicken, a little walnut and onion, no tomatoes or cukes, didn't miss them. I think the blue cheese dressing was homemade, very good.
