Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

Cracker Barrel was my go-to place. It seems to be too busy to cook items as well as it used to. They gave me burned bacon this time. Anyone could see it was burned and it shouldn't have been plated. Of course they replaced it. Waitress was very courteous. I hate having to have something returned. I've had issues of the sort in the past. Yes, at multiple CB's. I know they are busy, but quality matters.

This cracker barrel used to be a lot better. Food is still good, but there seems to be I change the clock. The mac and cheese looks like it powdered cheese. The plate presentation was Messy. I had gravy dripping over the side of my plate. The biscuits are still good. The service is normally good, but I had a bad experience today with a waitress that did not bring out my biscuits or cornbread till after my food was there. When I asked for a to-go box and it to-go cup from my drink. Usually they will give me the taco box but they will put my drink in the to-go cup. But she just put them on the table and walked on. She gave me my bill at the same time that I received my meal. this made me feel like she did not have time to continue waiting on me or she was rushing me out so she could get another table. overall the food is okay in the service is probably good with a different server. But the quality has decreased. Still was a great family place to go

Samantha did a fantastic job. She took great care of us. Made sure our glasses were never empty and that we were satisfied. If there were more servers like Samantha I would eat out more. I will for sure be back and sitting in her section. She is a valuable asset to the Cracker Barrel in Summerville!!

Food was good service was great. Had the lemon pepper rainbow trout with baby carrots, fries, and coleslaw. Hubby had the fried catfish w fried okra, mashed potatoes and gravy. Both meals were great. Waitress was very attentive but not pushy or over bearing. My son had an adult meal because pancakes for kids didn't have any meats with them. Pancakes were great as well as bacon but scrambled eggs were terrible. All and all would go again and would recommend.
