    Anson restaurant transfered us to a different century with their decor and service. It was a truly an "old Charleston" experience. The food was very good with fresh ingredients and unique flavors.

    Very nice atmosphere. I had the Chicken-Under-A-Brick, but should have gone with my instinct and gotten the fillet. Chicken was okay, but not worthy of this place. Service was friendly and as fast as one expects in a restaurant like this one. Great place to take a date for a romantic meal. You'll need to get reservations well in advance for Friday or Saturday (we tried last minute and couldn't). We went on Sunday and it was half-full at best!

    Hosted 50-60 ppl for a wedding rehearsal dinner. The room was perfect and the service could not have been better. The wait staff were excellent. The food was awesome. My expectations were exceeded and that’s the highest compliment I can give!

    We had friend for the weekend and he suggested Anson's. He had lived here 15 years ago and this was his favorite place. I warned him that a lot can change in 15 years, but we wanted a new experience and he wanted to relive his memory. Well, no disappointments. We were early, but our time at the bar was enjoyable with a great conversation with the bartenders. The Crispy Flounder was our friend's favorite, so we both ordered it. If you go, this is a "must order". The service was attentive without hovering over us. Hate hovering. Would we go back? Definitely.

    Wonderful dining experience! Upstairs decor was beautiful and quiet. Food was delicious! Service was attentive and very courteous. Highly recommend!
