Chubby Fish

This spot is one of my favorites in town. Staff and food are all 10/10. Don't let complaints about food timing deter you from going, this is a family style restaurant meant for sharing which is always explained clearly by your server.

Yoyo is a wonderful manager and is super friendly to her guests. There is a great menu and selection there and you can't go wrong with whatever you order. Portions are reasonable, the beer has a great selection. Very nice and homey place to visit.

Tasty oyster selection, unique wine list. Particularly good sauces and jellies accompanying the raw seafood. Oysters are a little on the expensive side when not on happy hour. Atmosphere is intimate and nautical-feeling.

We got up close and personal with the chefs, when we were sat at the chef’s table/bar. While we discussed the menu we were handed samples and asked if we wanted to try anything else. Truly felt the southern charm and we forgot we were in a elegant dining room. The fish dishes were creative, well plated and simply delicious. Hats off to chubby fish!
