Listen. There’s pizza, and there’s PIZZA. This is the latter. Great service and amazing tasting pizza. They even fit is in late. Left MUSC with the wife and was famished. Walked in and they offered us a seat, I’m talking at the eleventh hour here! Music kept the atmosphere light and the decorations throughout kept your eyes spinning (pun). Plan on taking the family here for some handmade authentic pizza.
Great little pizza place in Charleston. We went in later in the night and it was really good. You can get a 10" pie for yourself or larger sizes to share.
Crust had a nice bite and no floppiness to it. Toppings were tasty and they put a ton of pepperoni on mine. Good beer selection to enjoy with your pie.
Fantastic pizza and calzones. The place is a little tucked away and the dining area is pretty small, but the food is stellar. Definitely worth picking up for take out.
My son said, "this is the best pizza I've ever had!" We had a traditional cheese and the Mushroom Madness (with ricotta subbed for feta). Both pizzas were excellent! There were tons of toppings on the mushroom pizza and the ricotta was a perfect complement. Prices are very reasonable and the portions are filling. We look forward to visiting D'Allesandro's next summer when we return to Charleston. This will definitely be our new vacation pizza spot.
