We ate here for dinner on the first night of our trip to Charleston and it was easily the best meal we had during the entire trip. The oysters were great and the peel-n-eat shrimp were truly amazing! Our platter came with three mignonettes, cocktail sauce, aioli, and freshly grated horseradish — all delicious. We will definitely be back during our next trip.

We went to Empire Oyster in Charleston to taste different kind of oysters from the sixteen varieties they have on the menu that day. Evidently we couldn’t try all of them … They were fresh and the mignonnette so tasty without being too strong. The owner … or the manager, came to us with a sample for us to try, Smoked oysters… but raw! It was divine. We appreciated very much everything; the varied menu, the service, the freshness… it was a very good stop after a tour of this beautiful town. we certainly refer to all oyster’s lovers!

Quite the lil' hipster gem right across from Enigma.. Fancy hand made drinks... And off to the right of the bar is a super uber cool hipster dude to tell you all about the oysters. He says he will keep bringing them and we just tell him when to stop... No rush. They were divine, each one with different toppings...
    Thumbs up👍👍👍

If you're a big fan of oysters, you must come and visit this popup oysters bar. The staff really know their oysters and flavor pairing. Can't think of another place that have so many type of oysters beside Mitchell's fish market and maybe the oysters catcher restaurant in Tampa. I still give this place a slight edge over the big chain restaurant due to the paring they offer with each oyster.

Amazing selection of oysters! The freshest you'll have around town for sure. They know what they're doing, and it's a breath of fresh air for the area.
