Mellow Mushroom

Mellow mushroom is always a go to for us. They always have a great selection of beer on tap and their pizza is consistently good! I will definitely be back. Plus they just put up a nice outdoor seating area in the front that looks like a great place for us to hangout once the weather breaks! I cannot wait to dine out there on a mild autumn night in Charleston.

I didn't order any food but I had a tasty adult beverage called the Golden Monkey. I could see kids and parents both enjoying this place a lot. I studied the menu and the pizzas sounded very tasty. The highlight was the giant movie screen in the middle of the restaurant that was playing Madagascar. The world cup was playing on televisions at the bar. Seems like a great place to be on a Friday night.

This location does not disappoint ...extensive menu, great food and service, eclectic decor, great value (ask for mystery beer). They used to host mid day movie time for kids in the summer...
Not all Mellow Mushrooms are the same, but this one being one of the originals knows the F&B business and seems to address all aspects customer, employee and quality of food

The Mellow Mushroom in Avondale is a great place to get some pizza and good food. I really like the use of the former movie theater and open layout of the restaurant. This location has a unique flavor and vibe that is a little different and better than most Mellow Mushroom locations. I have had a good experience every time I have been to this location. The service has been excellent I felt well taken care of. This is one of my favorite places to go for pizza in Charleston.
