    I don't know where to start. From the warm biscuits, great drinks, and incredible service this may have been the best meal I've ever had. Shrimp and grits were phenomenal! Crimson blue slaw was amazing. The greens were delicious as part of the fried chicken meal. The Mac and cheese.....HEAVEN! The fries green tomatoes changes my life. Just go! Like now! Go!

    My boyfriend and I went there for our anniversary. It's very pretty inside, the waitress was very nice and the food was excellent. We both got the fresh catch of the day which was grilled Swordfish. Very good . Will definitely go back!

    Very cool, old timey classical vibe here. Sat in the back room (the porch?) and had excellent service and food/drinks. Moderately priced, but worth it. Had a local beer and the Country Fried Chicken, highly recommended. The sweet/spicy sauce is amazing.

    Excellent food! Great service! Warm and inviting atmosphere. My husband had the Sweet Tea Glazed Salmon and he said it was the best he'd ever eaten. I had the Crab Cakes over creamed corn with asparagus and it was delicious! Also, enjoyed the pimento cheese fritters and fried green tomatoes. All was fresh and flavorful. The staff are friendly, true southern hospitality, and very accommodating! Our server was Mackenzie and she was awesome!!! We are looking forward to dining at Poogan's Porch again soon!

    Great food. Good drink selection. Sitting on the "actual porch" was very cool!

    The only negative... Given the history of the building it is "a stop" on many walking tours so if you are sitting out front you kind of feel like an animal at the zoo with people walking by taking pictures
