Schlotzsky's

I haven't been to Schlotzsky's in ages, after a nondescript, uneventful experience at a Schlotzsky's near our home-town in Virginia Beach decades ago. It wasn't bad, but I remember it not really being all that good, either, but we met some couple friends for lunch in Charleston & they wanted to meet here, so we did.
I'm so glad that we did! I had the roast beef sub & it was very good. We will definitely add that back onto our list of places to go for fast, good sandwiches.

I go to schlotzsky's probably about 3 times a week I do like the managers/ owners there, they always seem to be very polite. My order is usually correct 7 out of 10 times. A couple of time I ordered chips with my order and failed to recieve them. Other times they forgot to add the bacon or jalapenos and 2 times I recieved it to cold for my taste. I like my cheese melted. Other than that the quality it good. I will be an ongoing customer for sure. This is one of my favorite places to eat.

Such a shame. My order was incorrect so I called & they weren't much help. I gave them a 2nd chance but the food took much longer than it should've. I really wish I could leave a 5 star review but this location doesn't even participate in the app like most Schlotzkeys nationwide. Fail

I love this place, I've been coming here for years. When I lived in another state as a teenager my mother worked at one of these for a shirt time to raise extra cash for my baseball traveling team. So this place will always hold a special place in my heart. I eat here at least once a week. Management changes and people that you see throughout the years have changed a lot. The newest seem to be geared towards profit which is any business best interest. Your sandwiches are going to be skimpy here do you ask for extra onions you're going to get like one sliver of onion you want extra pickle you will get one little pickle extra. But this is not the reason for my rating I can understand that and I keep coming back. Whoever the lady is that runs the window the older blonde-grey haired lady is the most rude person I've ever met in my life!!!!!! I have never seen somebody yell or treat people with such disrespect before in my life. I don't know if she owns the place or what but she acts like the customers owe her something. Based on this experience I will never take my business my company's business or my family's business there ever again if I see this lady there. This stinks cause the food is great, and my wife really enjoys the Rubens

The food was great! I had the original sandwich. It was a large sized sandwich. It was fresh and perfectly toasted. The reason this place is getting 3 stars is because of the restaurant itself. The place is in bad shape. Buckets were set around to catch the leaks from the roof. Some buckets were on the countertop. It had a stale, wet smell. The bathroom was very dirty. Make the repairs you need! What are you waiting for? This should be a great place. The employees were friendly and helpful. Give them a place to be proud of.
