The Washout

The food was excellent. I tried several items. Live music and very fun place. Not too rowdy so you can bring the kids. The service was the only downside. It wasn't for lack of effort by the servers. Our server appeared to be running ragged. A few more servers or perhaps better management could make this place really last.

I had chicken nachos, fried flounder and cheese grits. The food was really good. You can eat inside or outside. I enjoyed eating outside under the shade in July. There was no line when we went and it's fine to bring your kids. Casual dress is also fine. You can walk to the beach after dinner.

Awesome food! Great atmosphere...my new favorite place to eat on Folly. The crab dip and shrimp and flounder were delicious. Generous portions friendly staff and prices are fair. We visit Charleston often to see family and take vacation and usually take turns at the different beaches. I have a reason to visit Folly more often than the rest now.???? Thanks!

Good service and food was fast and hot. Not a fancy diner by any means but fairly typical of restaurants close to the beach. Casual attire for sure. Prices were not that bad either. Good portion sizes. And waitress offered drinks to go. Would eat here again.

This place was pure amazing. I got the buffalo tenders with fries which was absolutely amazing. I loved the atmosphere of this place and just how chill it was. It was also super close to the beach and the service was amazing. Definitely come here.
