Food was tasty...bar style of course. Its obviously where the locals hang out but by far not the "best bar" in the area. The fact we had to walk inside to place our order and we sat outside on the screen porch was a little odd to me but needless to say the coconut shrimp tacos were great and so were the alligator bites. overall a decent bar to grab a bite and drink.

The Dinghy was exactly what I was looking for after a day on the boat fishing in 100-plus degree weather: A laid-back dive bar and restaurant where locals hang out. In other words...Not touristy at all. It is a low key, but at times lively (like during a major televised sporting event) neighborhood establishment where everybody knows each other. The Dinghy has good, yet inexpensive food, along with a decent menu with a number of tasty options at the right price. The night that I was there, I was trying to decide between the fried flounder Fish and Chips, Fish Tacos or the nightly special, which were their famous Chicken Wings. I opted for the chicken wings and they were sensational. They also have live music on the weekends and I imagine that the place can get pretty lively at times. I will be back.

We have been here for after softball drinks but this weekend we brought 2 of our kids here to eat before we went to the beach. It was a nice local feel. Had they not have told us it was bar order and explained what that meant we would have been confused. There is indoor seating, covered outdoor seating and outdoor sun seating. They have it all. Food was good. The burger had great flavor but the patty was slider size in a regular bun but it was good and juicy. The people in there were really nice.

The food was very good. The service not so much. We sat out outside and had to go in to place an order. Maybe they just don't have waitresses. Not real sure. We refilled our own water and cleaned up our own table. No one ever asked if everything was okay.

I enjoyed eating lunch here with my young son, husband and parents. It's super casual so great for us- my son could walk around the deck and play with the giant connect four set while we had a drink and food. I ate some really interesting fries- sweet potatoes covered in warm peanut butter with plantains and bacon. I loved it. Wings were not great, but that's ok, at the price point I wasn't expecting much. The bartender was friendly and down to earth which I really liked. If you like a chill and relaxed environment with decent bar food, I recommend this place. They have angry orchard cider on draft. My mom liked her fish tacos. You order from the bar and pick your table to sit at.
