    Eaten here for 12 years. Hot, fresh, quickly prepared take out. Never has disappointed. Excellent quality and huge portions.

    My wife and I visited Peking Gourmet yesterday night for the first time, and we were both impressed by the quality of the food as well as the customer service.

    We just moved back to Charleston this past January and we have been trying out all of the local take out Chinese food spots. So far out of every one we have tried (at least ten others by now), this place had the BEST quality of food. We ordered the sesame chicken (asked for it extra spicy), wonton soup, egg rolls, crag rangoons, and beef lo mein - all of it was made on the spot and obviously fresh.

    10/10, I wish I could rate ya'll higher. We'll be returning for more great food, often.

    I always have good food and service at Peking Gourmet. Others are right about each Chinese place has their "own" flavor and I happen to like theirs. If you want fancy then this is not ur place to dine. If u want good food quickly then give them a try.

    Not as good as Golden Bowl but not bad either. Ordered egg drop soup and chicken and broccoli. Soup was good from the chicken and broccoli was very plain.
