The Rusty Rudder - Mt. Pleasant

Went here on 6/27/19, very good food. Ordered the blackened chicken Alfredo and calamari. Both were cooked to perfection! Service was speedy and amazing. Ultimately had a great time here!

A friend recommended the Rusty Rudder to us for our first trip in town due to the close proximity to where we were staying. We had no idea what the restaurant was and walked in with no expectations. We went on an evening where there was live music so we sat on the patio. The atmosphere is so wonderful! The menu was limited but food was average. Service was less than average but I really don't know if that was our waitress trying to not bother us or if she was just a bad server! It didn't take away too much from our experience. Cost was moderate but I do think it was a little expensive for what it is. Overall, this is an awesome place to grab a drink with friends but we probably won't go back for an actual meal.

We have visited many times. Love the large outdoor patio, and the inside is great too. I have had the spicy chicken sandwich, the cheeseburger, and recently the smoked brisket sandwich. Everything is tasty, wonderfully prepared. We have brought guests who also loved their food and drinks.
