La Hacienda Mexican Restaurant

Went in 4 an early dinner because traffic was so bad. Service was great but good Wass rather bland. I had Burrito California and my wife had Chicken Zucchini. Beer was cold!

There were a lot of cars in the parking lot. It must have been employees, though, because inside was empty. The food was okay. Okay is almost pushing it. The fajitas weren't even sizzling.

It is easy to get into when disabled. Seating, if you have a walker, is not as easy. The restrooms are also easy access.

Rivers Avenue restaurant in North Charleston. Dated appearence restaurant compared with their other locations - perhaps they are attempting at providing a more authentic experience. Decent experience despite the fact that we ourselves had to provide significant self service, such as getting our own refills and salsa from the kitchen due to the mohawked waiter being overwhelmed, forgetful, and unorganized. Another young kid helping out was actually a much better people person, more attentive, and considerate. He should be the owner! Food was good and plentiful, and the free shot provided to our table enhanced the experience. Place was as clean as they could get it, and many people looked as if they were enjoying themselves. The drinks we had were watered down and not size appropriate vs cost, but the shot was not. Overall it was a great experience tainted by the lackadaisical waiter but somewhat resurrected by the kid, food, and other patrons.

Mexican style atmosphere. Good prices for portions. Steak fajitas we're fresh and hot, combo platter was enough for two meals. The service was great, the server's we're very pleasant.
