Waffle House

The waitress "Bre" was very polite she provided great service

I had the cheese steak sandwich and hashbrowns with cheese & root beer. My friend had a chicken sandwich and hashbrowns with cheese and a coke. Only issue was they didnot have pork chops they were out which is what my friend wanted first.

The coffee was the best tasting thing there. I order the the star breakfast and the waffle was a little hard and the egg was good the grits was ok the bacon was crispy too crispy but at least I knew it was cooked. The service needs a little work had to asked for a refill of coffee and there was only 3 other people there. They need to be more pro active on the drinks. The atmosphere was a little drown out by the employees they were really loud when they were talking. I would rate it 3 and a half stars I really like coffee and would not want to wait for long to get a refill but it would be 4 stars if it wasn't for the coffee situation.

Food was good. Waitress could of been more attentive. Had to keep asking for refill

Ordered a Bacon Philly cheese sandwich. It was missing the bacon and had very little steak . the sandwich was unevenly cut ( one piece was small the other big but not cut through all the way) when i did get the bacon it was burnt alittle and fried too hard. When i bit into the sandwich it fell apart and some of the filling fell out. The place was empty but dirty. Food under stations, nothing wiped down you can see the waffle batter where it had dripped down on the door. The napkin holder was caked with greasy dirt and the tables not wiped. Air vent ceiling etc. Everything dirty. Oh and a roach crawling under the dirty work station. My daughter said "Mom, it's a waffle house what do you expect?"The waitress was not all there but nice. I gave a $3.00 tip anyway because the staff still have to make a living and despite the sandwich debacle the hash was great as usual. I won't be returning to this particular location though.
