“Very poor service. Tried to get a hot fudge Sunday but Trisha the server tried to give us chocolate syrup and said it was hot fudge. My wife asked for the manager and she said she was. Well she wasn't then the manager said she was a good girl an we should not report it. My wife got a mocha drink that was full of ice cubes and not crushed or blended. What kind of people run this place. Maybe the should get a new job not in customer service.”

Since his wife took over things aren't as good as they used to be and she's jacked up some of the prices. She's also kind of rude. “Great local restaurant. We are traveling from Pittsburgh PA to Hilton head and stopped in Walterboro since we cannot check in early Saturday. Family wanted something simple before beach sports bars and seafood. The meats (both chicken and steak) were tender and cooked right. Thus hit the spot. Perfect local traffic came in and tons of take out. One child has a picky pallet and passed the ebi roll and philly roll.”

“Before the real review, I just need to say that this place needs a website. Post your menu online. To be honest, I was surprised. This place feels like it's in the middle of nowhere. The menu is limited, but the food was surprisingly good. The wait staff was a little disorganized. Two people took our drink orders, a third one brought the drinks. We asked for the salad to come out with the main, which I think confused them, because the salad never came out. That actually worked out for us, because there was so much food, we didn't need it. Saved us 5 bucks.”

“After discovering this place, I have been buying pizza here for the last couple of years and ride my motorcycle 30 minutes to do so - but it’s so well worth it! The pizza (always pepperoni and extra cheese, well-done and unsliced by request) is always excellent, fresh and on time - and the staff always friendly. I have a brother who resides in NYC and I’ll tell you that the pizza here rivals any I’ve had in the city. Consistently delicious! I’ll always be a grateful customer here! Go Castillo’s! “What a delightful little place. The seafood selection is top notch. Do not be fooled by the appearance. You can get your seafood cooked to order or take it raw to cook your self. I witnessed a tight cramp kitchen with about 6 people dancing and singing while they worked. Everyone was very nice and helpful. It is definitely a diamond in the ruff.”
