Nigel's Good Food

We were visiting Charleston for a family gathering and someone at our hotel recommended this place! It was worth the short drive. It’s a small, locally owned restaurant, but sooo good! We had several things on the menu and tasted them all. Everything was great! Friends recommended this place while we were there for a Lacrosse tournament. We got there at 8. I would recommend you get there earlier! They were running out of favorites when we got there! The proportions were huge! Good food at a great price!

Hands down, one of the best meals I’ve ever had at a restaurant! We asked the waitress for her favorites and we ordered what she recommended. The low country ravioli was amazing!! I haven’t had anything like it before, but I am so glad I tried something new. Definitely not disappointed!

Now I’m no expert in soul food, but everything our group ordered was amazing. Don’t be fooled by the strip mall location. The place was packed and everyone was super nice.

I met a friend here for lunch. He suggested it. He's a regular here and this was my first time there while I was in town. I was warmly greeted upon entry with great smiles. This place has a nice vibe. It's tucked away in the corner of a shopping plaza. The food was delicious. If ever I'm in town again, I'd love to check this place out.

Went to this restaurant to have dinner. Always looking for new things and trying to stay away from the chain restaurants. This was a small place but was very good. I had the Shrimp and Grits. Their version did not have the spicy hotness I expected and was pleasantly surprised. Very flavorful and an excellent value. You will not be disapointed in the quality of the food. Very worth the trip.
