This used to be our favorite Mexican restaurant when we lived here before. We recently moved back and the food was still pretty good but there was definitely a stems to the air. It smelled like raw sewage. I did use the restroom and it wasn't coming from the restroom which makes me think it must be coming from the kitchen. I'm torn on whether I want to go back or not. Previously I would have given them five stars no question but the place just seems dirty and with that smell with her recent trip back after a few years of being away.
It's OK. I've been there many times for the last 10 years or so.
The menu is like any other Mexican restaurant menu. The inside seem greasy but apparently it's clean. Maybe just needs updated.
The biggest area of disappointment are the Margaritas. I mean the place is named Margaritas so you would think the Margaritas would be phenomenal. Nope, just plain old store bought mix and if your lucky, you'll get one with the appropriate amount of tequila in it. but... Why not blow it wide open and offer real good Margaritas!!? Be know for something other than mediocrity.
but... I still go there to sit outside and fight the flies.
This place will die when taco Boys comes to town...
Consistently GREAT food, good service. Can get crowded early evenings so either be prepared to wait or go elsewhere. I highly recommend their BBQ options. I was especially surprised by how good the BBQ burrito and fries were.
We've tried so many delicious things here, but our favorite is the Texas rice. It is shrimp, chicken and steak with rice, peppers and cheese sauce. Absolutely killer!! The service is not always the best, and my 87 year old grandma was all but ignored today, but you don't come here for the service. They have an exceptional outdoor seating area, and it makes the food and conversations that much better. It is pretty standard Mexican food, but the soups and rice are top notch. Prepare to spend some time here.
This my favorite Place to eat at.. The people who took care of us was amazing.. There was 12 people in our group.. He handled it amazing.. The food always fresh and hot..
Best place ever.. Thank you so much
