“The Pimento Cheese on a toasted Everything Bagel was fabulous! This place definitely knows how to make great bagels. I understand they make their bagels fresh daily. Unfortunately, we didn't really care for the rest of the items we ordered. The chicken salad had chicken that was cut in large chunks, and it just tasted really dry; I could barely taste any mayo or anything else in it. We also had the Spinach & Feta Knish -- sadly, also not impressed. There seemed to be a very overpowering spice in it, which I couldn't get past after a couple of bites. Lastly, we tried a chocolate chip cookie, a peanut butter cookie, & a sprinkle cookie, all of which were just okay. We will certainly come back for the bagels! Like I said, I believe they make the best bagels in town. The bagels were firm (NOT hard) on the outside, but doughy and chewy on the inside. They taste very fresh, indeed. I will also come back for the Pimento Cheese on a Bagel; so delicious. Great prices, too. One last thing, this is a very small place. You place your order at the counter for takeout, or you can eat at one of four tables (with umbrellas) on the patio. The owner is extremely nice, too.”

“Donuts were big and super soft, you can tell they were freshly baked. They tasted great without being overly sweet, the donut holes were sweeter and also light and fluffy. The sausage cheddar and jalapeño pastry was also really good. The owner was there and helped us, he and his staff were very pleasant and you could tell he cares about his customers. It’s a little harder to notice on the main roads but people need to start going here instead of chains because their price, quality, taste, speed of service, and friendlier staff are all worth it.”

“A good place to head to the beach without the large crowds. One of the best beaches for seashell hunters on the east coast. A small town family environment but the area is limited on dining and shopping options.”

“Not a bad place. Clean inside, fast and friendly service and pretty yummy donuts. My only gripe is that the last two times I got a coffee, whoever put my lid has very strong perfume based lotion on. Everytime I take a drink I can smell the lotion. Other than that, great place for a coffee and a donut.”

“It was not busy for a late breakfast. My son and I both had the country skillet. He had tots and I had fried potatoes. Of course son needed pancakes too. All was good. Service was good to. It was a nice treat for spring break week.”

“Always fun and delicious choices at The Eclectic Chef! Both healthy eaters and the more indulgent types will find tasty plates to satisfy. There are not a lot of tables inside so you might consider eating streetside and do some people watching.”
