Western Sizzlin Steakhouse & Buffet

Great restaurant! Quiet with a caring staff. Used to be one of favorite restaurants. Most have closed. Wish this restaurant would come back in numbers! Great steaks are a reasonable price! Used to frequent their 2r hour restaurant in Charleston. I miss the #10 Steak Sandwich.

This is an old-school steakhouse like you used to be excited to go to as a kid. Classic buffet, salad bar, bakery bar, dessert bar, and food you can order from the grill. Steaks are the primary fare here, but they also have chicken and a small selection of seafood. The baked sweet potatoes are particularly good.

Buffet was good today, however the service was lacking. The waitress took her time getting my two plates and unsweetened tea. She never bothered to ask if I wanted anything later, so I had to ask her for a dessert plate,more napkins, and artificial sweetener, when I could flag her down. It was moderately busy, but not mobbed.
