Wacca Wache Marina

I feel the need to type this up. I’m standing on the dock. Watching this vessel la vitas owner yell cuss etc… at the staff at wacca wache. The captain would not listen to their instructions on his lines. I couldn’t believe how he spoke not only to the dock hand, dock master but the marina manager. He told him to F off this and that. The staff at wacca wache held their composure and handled the situation better than I ever would. Still offering to help tie his boat properly to the dock. While I’m standing the guy wanted to include me. I personally would have pushed him in the water to cool off.he kept saying I even came to gang up on him that we were friends. We’re not friends sir. We are friendly. But I respect them enough to listen to their experience and expertise.The manager asked this guy to speak calmly and come to a resolution. They sure do have a very passionate, calm, patient… hard working staff.

Even though i have lived here for more than 5 years I just discovered this place this year. They have a nice little restaurant where you can sit inside or out and watch the boats. I also understand they have boat tours on the Waccamaw River and I can't wait to do this next year. Good food, good atmosphere and great service.

Beautiful Marina, floating docks, personable attendants, clean restrooms, nice restaurant. The fuel and slip fees were affordable. Bonus: deck hands stayed late for our predicted late arrival and one offered to loan me his truck for a grocery run.

In town visiting relatives and we stopped by the Wacca Wache Marina to grab some drinks out on the deck. What a BEAUTIFUL setting! The huge tree in the middle of the deck threw enough shade to keep it quite comfortable even though it was 88 degrees outside. The staff was very nice and on the ball. Didn't have any food but the menu looked tasty enough and we will have to try it on our next visit. I will most definitely be back!

Our first time to visit. Passed by so many times over the years. We arrived after hours, but the marina was so kind to provide all of our access information to the folks in the restaurant to pick up (they close at 9:00.

Such a quiet location during the night. No water noises on the hull either!

The restaurant ownership is new since Dec 2022 but the owner and his staff are working hard to please. Food was really good and conversation was genuine.

They claim some of the lowest price diesel on the ICW and their $3.59 vs the 4.60+ otherwise didn’t disappoint, just wish I could load more!!
