We went to Cook Out when everything else was closed. Good food for the price. One piece of advise is to skip the drive thru and walk up to the window. You will save yourself a bunch of time.
I dont eat meat. I go strictly for the shakes. They have a huge variety. My faves are fresh banana, pineapple, banana pudding, & watermelon.
First off, add @total10coolness on Snapchat and second, I don't think I've gotten that superb of cookout service ever.. the staff members on April 15 2019 night shift at 1120pm were amazing. They went out of their way to make sure to put a strawberry and a banana on the top of the drink with the whipped cream and make it look special all for just a dollar on an upgrade ... And what made it even more awesome what's that they did it all with a smile!!!
This location makes the shakes correctly. I don't eat a lot of sugar so when I do I have to make it count. Cherry cheesecake was on point. Some places blend it till it's a goopy soup. This was perfect.
This is an update to my prior review (below) which raises my overall rating from 1 to 4 stars. On my second visit I got the chicken sandwich and fries. Both items were good. I scared them down. It was overall a good value and equal to what I would expect for this price range. The chicken tasted like it was grilled on a real BBQ grill. You don't find that very often in fast food. Cookout has won me back as a customer due to their taking ownership of the previous problem and proactively reaching out. This tells me that they care about the customer experience and quality of their food. Kudos to you, Cookout!
Previous review:
One of the worst hamburgers I've ever had. The meat had the most unpleasant texture, like it was a collection of dry crumbles formed into a patty. I can't imagine ever ordering one again for the rest of my life. Next time I'll try the chicken sandwich.
The milkshake was good, but way too thick for the narrow straw they give you. So that didn't work while driving either.
Overall, a one star experience. I hope to return one day and be able to write a more positive review.
